Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day from Alpha Esquires LA!

This past weekend, Alpha Esquires hosted our 11th Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser, and it was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by our Esquires, and to those who supported and donated.

In honor of MLK Day, we also hosted our 2nd Annual MLK Day of Service in collaboration with The Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit that provides resources to foster youth while raising awareness for Black history. The Foundation is named after Biddy Mason, a formerly enslaved woman who became a leading philanthropist in Los Angeles. The afternoon included an informative session educating the community on resources and support for foster youth. Volunteers donated hygiene items and assembled informational packets for those in need.

Alpha Esquires kicked off the new year with a refreshing Polar Bear Plunge, symbolizing the opportunity to leave the past behind and embrace new beginnings. More than just a cold-water challenge, the experience represented resilience, courage, and a fresh start. Together, the Esquires welcomed the year with an invigorating dive, strengthening their bonds through fellowship, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to making the most of the year ahead.
